As Product Owner at VIPS PMS, you’ll work closely with our Product and development team to turn product strategy into clear, practical work. The direction and frameworks are in place. Within those, we give you the freedom to figure out the best way forward.
You don’t need to be a developer. You do need to be curious about technology, comfortable talking to developers and willing to get into the details when needed.
What you'll do
You’ll be involved from idea to delivery. Your work will include:
- Translate product priorities into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Help keep the backlog and roadmap up to date and aligned with the product direction.
- Work closely with our developers to understand technical possibilities, dependencies and trade-offs.
- Work with SaaS platforms, REST/JSON APIs and Azure-based technology.
- Ask the right questions and turn unclear problems into practical solutions.
- Make decisions and move things forward within the frameworks and priorities we have set.
- Keep stakeholders informed and involved where needed.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum way, together with the development team.
- Follow work through to delivery and make sure what we build solves the problem we set out to solve.
A big part of the role is simply working together. You’ll be in regular contact with developers, product colleagues and other stakeholders. Our development team includes colleagues offshore, so being clear, approachable and proactive matters.

What we’re looking for
You don’t have to tick every box. We’re more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV.
You probably have:
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- A genuine interest in technology and SaaS.
- Some experience or understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
- The ability to turn ideas and problems into clear, workable solutions.
- A creative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and make decisions within clear frameworks.
- The confidence to work directly with developers and ask questions when you don’t understand something.
- Good command of English. Dutch is a plus.
- Affinity with hospitality and travel is a plus.
